dell’acqua. Sulle rive dei fiumi e dei laghi, come sulle coste dei mari, si sono sviluppate civiltà e
nazioni, saperi e conoscenza, abbondanza e prosperità, ma pure catastrofi e conflitti. Per l’umanità l’acqua è anche forza di cambiamento sociale, preziosa risorsa della quale far tesoro, da proteggere e usare con saggezza. L’acqua ha significato movimento, energia, scambi materiali e culturali; ha stimolato esplorazioni, emozioni, architetture ed espressioni artistiche e letterarie ma, per il futuro, richiede maggiori attenzioni e senso di responsabilità. Il surriscaldamento del pianeta, il rischio di desertificazione, l’aumento dei consumi metteranno l’umanità intera di fronte a scelte importanti.L’acqua sovrintende/guida/governa/orienta in modo consapevole e inconsapevole la vita di ognuno
